This necklace is made of tin, cotton covered tubular cords and ovalshaped beads. Inspired by the ancient Japanese knottying technique of shibari, it is composed of a tin torque which is bound with rows of cotton knots. Long strands of lacquered pearls hang loosely down the front, extending to the waist.
